And not really a sitcom but brilliant Monty Python-esque silliness - Look Around You ( series 1 is my favourite )

Coupling, Coupling, Coupling. The pilot episode is little slow (as most are), but stick with it (until Jeff leaves at the end of series 3). Afterwards they started getting a bit desperate trying to cover the void he left. Still a couple of good episodes in series 4, but it's just not Coupling anymore.
As awesome as Jeff is, my favourite parts are Steve's random rants (notably cushions) and of course Lesbian Spank Inferno.
Look Around You was utterly brilliant. During quiet lessons or when part of the class is out one of our science teachers occasionally puts an episode on and just waits to see which kids catch on first.
Friday Night Dinner
