8800 GTX, GTX 480, GTX 1080 Ti, andRTX 4090.
All top standout GPUs, RTX 4090 is silly money though so it's put in an overpriced sub category![]()
Wood screw special Sir?Ah the GTX 480 Fermi, i remember this hot boy.
Still rocking two 1080ti's in SLI to this day, the vast majority of what I play supports SLI still, anything that won't run well at 4K I just drop down to 1440p.8800GTX was a monster. What was better than the 8800GTX I hear you cry. That’s right, 2x 8800GTX in SLI. It worked a treat and I had those bad boys in my system for years. Please don’t tell me SLI was cr@p because it worked great for me. Aahh those were the days.
They were magnificent cards SLI worked a treat for me I also had 480GTX and 680GTX in SLI as well.1080ti undoubtedly.

No desire to upgrade at all.
Yeah, very true. I remember installing a Voodoo 2 into my Pentium 2 400Mhz that had the Intel 810 chipset, commonly known at the time as the Intel 810 crapsetIn my opinion the 3dfx voodoo is a contender using a different variable. Based on the vast difference it made to what was available at the time. Few other gfx cards made such a generational leap to what we get visually. Even the 4090 as amazing as it is offers virtually no significant visual boost to lower end or competitive technologies (I still want one). At the time 3dfx was a huge game changer. Apart from SSD's we haven't had many significantly noticeable improvements in a long time by changing up a component, just marginal improvements trickle fed at a vastly increasing cost.
If only it had 16gb vram it would be still the GOAT.3080 was the GOAT imo, what other gpu in history managed to last over 3 years without without being beaten by a newer gen card costing the same or less, even the mighty 1080ti didn’t manage that feat.
