Watched this the other night. Really enoyed it. Like the odd nod to the source material- north western accents from belief it's originally based in Cheshire, scenery bob on.

2 hours wasted last night. Half of it is so dark you can't see whats going on. Tried various modes on the TV and the best was Vivid. Even then.....

I was really looking forward to this without any knowledge of the historical tale it's based upon.

Having now seen it I feel a bit shortchanged. From the trailer you see as much of the giants and talking fox as in the film. I thought it was going to be much more of a interesting quest than what it was!

It was absolutely beautiful though.

Well that was... bizarre. I'm not sure whether I liked it or not Quite a trippy journey and much of it makes little sense.

Not one I'll be recommending to others.
