So who along with me is watching the reruns of the first series and hanging out to watch the new series.
For me this has to be the funniest show on telly at the moment and just about the only show that i set my moby alarm for.
Absolute briliant surreal comedy that makes be belly laugh out load numerous times in just 1 episode. :D
My favourite character is the woman in her office who is supposed to help the workers or summit. A total nutcase who dances around madly stuffs her face in a cake and talks to one of the Doctors like a natzi.
Then you have the weird head doctor who is so awkward he's hilarious. HOMO. :p
The characters in this show every one of them are so strong and the dialogue/script is pure comedy genius.
The interaction between the gas guy and the surgeon is superb with ginger even stabbing the gas guy just for laughs.

So who else has or is watching it and whats your best bits.

The bit where the doctor jumps out the cupboard in his underpants playing a recorder had me in stitches :D

I think it's a funny series but not everyone agrees.

I love it :D
Only watched about half of the series last time it was on so good to see them all and really looking forward to the new series :) Although I hope they put it on a bit earlier in the evening.

Green Wing I found is immensely funny.

Bearing in mind it comes on late, I have to keep my laughter quite low because otherwise Ill wake up everyone else.

It is very funny though. Every character just happens to make me laugh, from the slaggy old lady in the office upstairs to the nutcase staff liaison that brought a Camel in the other day.

Ill definitely be getting the 1st series on DVD :D

Green Wing urinates in Scrubs from a great hight and ranks with Spaced and Black Books as one of my all time favorite TV comedies :)

THIS. This is a lie.

No IMHO it really isn't but then it is an opinion.

I much prefer British comedy, Scrubs is OK for what it is, a mindless American comedy but Green Wing, Spaced and Black Books have the dark Pythonesqe weirdness that is only done really well by the British. I'll watch Scrubs and think 'well that was quite amusing' Green Wing will make me laugh out loud, to me thats the mark of great comedy.

I am so looking forward to the second series of Green Wing.
It was like a breath of fresh air when it first appeared and the fact they have taken their time getting this new run sorted means it shouldn't be rushed and should be every bit as funny.
Can't wait.

Have to agree with that, green wing is top notch, there are some quality Biriths comedys around at the moment, with this, Peep show and nathan Barley all being absolutely hilarious.

You really need to follow a season of Scrubs then to understand the deeper meanings behind each episode, the running stories through the past 4 seasons have been great. It's not just a slapstick comedy as many people who have only seen a few episodes here and there think.

A lot of episodes are a lot darker and have morals behind them.

And there's always that episode in season 3 which was voted the greatest TV episode of anything ever, too.

Far from mindless. :)
