The GTX 980 Ti owners thread.

A quick question, Am guessing my 980 Waterblock wont fit the 980 TI, But will the Titan X waterblock fit a 980 TI? So I can order a block right bloody now, Thanks :P

Well my vsync issues seems to be driver related.. I installed the new gsync hotfix driver and it seems to have improved things a good deal. Im not sure if it has removed the stutter completely but its much less a problem and i can enjoy my games now..atleast for the time being..

Im having some weird vsync issues.. The fps in every game i tried so fare will drop and the game stutters.. sometimes for 1-2 seconds before returning to 60 fps locked. During the stutter/fps spike gpu usage drops a good deal.. Anyone else have this issue? its ruining my fun with the 980ti..

If you have a single card I'd be interested in your performance in witcher 3 and far cry 4 as I have got the same monitor as you.

I can get a solid 60 with almost maxed out settings.. i just have to stay away from hairworks and hbao but i dont like those anyway so no biggy..i also use high foliage option with ini tweak to match ultras grass draw distance.

Whats your ASCI number, not that it matters but I always check

72.5% & 74%

I never noticed that feature before, not entirely sure what it means but according to the description the lower asic % is better for water and a higher number is better for air. Does that sound about right?

Has anyone ordered 4 ti's yet for some silly fps?

Any of you getting much in the way of coil whine? I may become an owner, but don't want to go to all the trouble of hooking it up to my watercooling loop only to find it hisses like my 290x. Does the 980TI have the "anti-coil-whine technology" like the Titan X? Do OCUK guarantee no coil whine with their tech labs cards?

I would also like to know this as I am fussy about my pc making any noise.

Out of curiosity, what blocks did you go for?

I've gone for the EKWB Titan X full cover acetal with the backplate.

As S2KIP mentioned, yes the TX blocks will fit. An EK rep posted on reddit that they will fit and they therefore won't make a version specific to the 980Ti. So the block you linked to will be fine.

My EVGA SLI Bridge has started to flash again with the 980tis!
The last time it worked like that was with 780tis?
980s it just lit up, now I can control it again!
Weird

I've been after one of those bridges for a while now. EVGA almost never get stock. I do wish I could get the Official NVIDIA ones though. It's silly they only sell them in North America.

Also sitting here constantly checking my UPS tracking for my cards. I can't wait!
I haven't been this excited since my DOA Titan X, and before that the 8800GTX
