@ Kaapstad, Please take me of the RoH, as I have sent my card back as a Faulty item, as the coil whine was to much. Having audible coil whine over the sound from my speakers was just too much.
Its a pity as the card was excellent, no noise from the fans even at full load playing Grid2 , Dying Light, or Even Metro 2033 & LL.
Pailt Super Jetstream.
Hope to get a new one.
But on the issue of coil whine. If the coil whine is audible over the sound from your speakers in a game, especially a sound heavy game like a FPS or a driving game, then that is not acceptable, and is a fault. I don't accept coil whine as acceptable.
Totally agree.
A bit like dead pixels on monitors. Don't think you'll find any buyer who finds that an acceptable fault, yet it's been forced upon by the industry.
Playing GTA, thought i'd open AB and see how everything was doing in game and my reference card is boosting to 1174 stock![]()
Thats stock boost for any Ti/Tx bud. My TX boosts to 1177mhz stock but the very least people seem to get is 1300mhz from what I can gather. Mine hits 1420mhz on stock volts but is voltage limited in that even if I add more voltage it wont go any higher
So far yes, boost to 1380 out of the box ands stabilises at 1367.![]()
So the "sold as" overclock isnt stable? I know its a small amount but is it advertised as 1380 boost?
