My plan is to upgrade my whole computer when Skylake-E is released and then I'll wait till the next GPU upgrade comes after that and upgrade to that. Realistically it looks like I won't upgrade my graphics card until the release after Pascal. So 2018 I guess.

I'm not ruling out SLI if prices drop though. That could be a nice upgrade in itself although I bought the 980Ti to replace my old Crossfire configuration because a single card was faster than my old dual card configuration and Crossfire / SLI doesn't always work as well as I'd like.
 
can someone tell me if these are good for a full custom water loop

2x 980ti SC @1468 boost with a 150core and 250 mem overclock with no added volts using PX.

5960x at 4.25ghz (same loop)

pump EK dual DDC 3.2 , 2x 480mm rads (top 60mm bottom 40mm)

4 x Riing 12 fans on each , all being controlled manually by the Aquereo 6 XT .

pump on 40% and Fans at 1100rpm

3x dell 1440p gsync (7680x1440p res)



my temps at full load on games like Battlefront and project cars are max 50c and crysis 3 at around 52c . ive never seen it above 54c with GTA5 with pump and fans on only 30% (i like a silent system) .

my question is how far can push these cards and get better scores on firestrike ? it seems there is a lot of room on these cards still and most games only run at around 40c max .

is there anyone with similar spec to what i can add to the gpu ovewrclock ?

Asic is 75.1 and 73.9 .

Although Friday will be the day for a complete pc overhaul, moving to skylake (8pack Elite bundle), add in another iChill Hybrid 980ti, x34 Predator and that should be the gaming setup done for a few months.

Guys, Need advise. Going to buy 980ti on Monday with another one added next month to run SLI set up.
Been looking at the prices and I have found:

I need to be able to fit them in an SLI mode, Need them to be quiet when not gaming (working a lot at night) and when I game don't want them to turn to a bloody vacuum

The aesthetics are also important with a widowed case I'd like to be able to show off :)

Don't want to be spending a fortune though. Looked for a used ones but to be fair the prices are not much different to the new ones I have found so may buy myself a piece of mind for a £100 extra.

Been sitting on youtube all day looking at reviews but there is nothing like personal experience with any of those brands.
Had Gigabyte before, never had any of the other.
Which would you guys recommend?

Have you considered EVGA? I'm very impressed with my classified. If not then Gigabyte. You've got to factor in RMA processes imo and EVGA and Gigabyte are the best around.
 
I was looking at other brands as well but EVGA costs ususally £40 more than the rest of them in line with MSI and ASUS.
I would say £510 is my max per card.

If there is a deal somewhere that I have missed please let me know :)
 
Just found Gigabyte for £485, but it is the most basic version :(
I'll keep searching.

Seen in reviews people complaining about the coil whine - is this a big issue and does it affect all cards?

I think most cards will have coil whine at silly FPS!

I'm not a big fan of EVGAs cards as had bad experience with them. For me MSI is the way to go as all the cards I've had from them have been excellent. Having said that if I had to chose out of the three you have listed I'd go for the Zotac.
 
Loving my zotac amp 980ti, bloody lovely!

Bought it from the rainforest as ocuk shipping is crazy to my location.

Do I qualify for a free tomb raider game?
