Its not too bad if you think how much a miniture PCB dual 970 card would cost you.

But yes it can travel in my car after I unplug 2 wall sockets, a USB cable and a display port cable.

After some testing I am happy with these being my final 24/7 clocks.

A smidge faster clocks than the 980 desktop. Less memory bandwidth and less shaders/texture units so obviously a fair bit slower per card but combined they should keep up with things :D

Step 2 of modding has commenced:

As you can see for efficiency at regular loads only 3 MOSFETs have been included instead of the full 6.

As you can see efficiency starts to drop off as they get more heavily loaded, I think this is causing my cards to shut off when I push them up to 1450mhz at 1.175V on the core and 1500Mhz and 1.6v (I think) on the mem.

The card is currently being sent off for the chips to be soldered on properly, it should be interesting to test them when I get them back :)

I expected your cpu temps to be insane but they're really good!

Think someone on here had one of these with a 4790k and it was throttling when encoding.

The new P7XXzm machines with the Haswell CPUs are a different Chassis to this one.

This machine uses two fans for the CPU alone.
