I've just installed Terminator resistance, it looks rubbish. Really low res textures
Wouldn't say it looked "rubbish" but each to their own and all that.

Textures certainly aren't the best but the lighting and atmosphere was very good, especially considering how old the game is now....

Witcher 3 looks better, those pictures above look way better. I've set it to maximum settings and graphics look something from 10 years ago.
Like I said, each to their own 
I wouldn't say witcher 3 stock (max settings) was anything to write home about either in terms of textures:
Obviously textures are important but as long as the rest of the graphical effects are there such as lighting, particles, shadows, game world design etc., I can look past textures not being super 4k looking.
