It's that time again folks! The guys behind the Humble Indie Bundle have just announced the Humble Introversion Bundle! Pay what you want for:

Uplink

Darwinia

Defcon

Multiwinia

All of these games are absolute classics. As a bonus you also get the city generator they developed for long-awaited, but now sadly postponed indefinitely, Subversion, and some kind of voxel tech demo. Pay above the average and you also get:

Crayon Physics Deluxe

Aquaria

Go get 'em!

Dagnabbit, I was hoping Subversion would be there because I have the others.

What happened to Subversion? Hadn't heard it was postponed.

In a nutshell: They spent years developing it, on and off, and realised that what they had was a load of cool tech but no actual game. The only gameplay anyone had seen had been painstakingly hand-crafted instead of being procedurally generated which is where they wanted to be, and also they came to the realisation that they just didn't have a solid and varied foundation for the actual gameplay. With great sadness they have put it on hold indefinitely.

They do plan to return to it, but not any time soon. Meanwhile, they've taken a lot of the tech they developed for Subversion and put it into a brand new project called Prison Architect, a game in which you design high-security prisons. It should be ready next year too - indeed, they're even entering it in the next IGF. I'm looking forward to it, but not as much as I was looking forward to Subversion. If they could've made that the game it should have been, it would have been amazing. :(

At least they didn't take the path of most AAA developers and try and force a game out of it anyway :)

I already have most of the games but i'll give my typical $10 donation to the cause and probably give the steam key to my brother.

There are some very good games in this bundle, If you haven't played Uplink yet then go and play it now! ;)

This packs clearly for people with no taste in games whatsoever.

Those with taste will have already bought all these games years ago. :p

Got them all but put a donation in. In their usual style, a couple of nice soundtracks. :)

This is the best bundle so far, no doubt about it. I have it all but I'll get them as gift for someone. Introversion deserve all the monies.. all of them!

Just thinking this. On the other hand, it would be nice to have everything on Steam.... Hmm.

Hmm... i might be convinced since i don't have any of them. They didn't really interest me at first glance but "hmm".

Are there Desura keys? Like the Frozen Synapse bundle but not the Voxatron one. Steam is really temperamental on Wine of late, seems to run out of memory in seconds. Desura works perfectly fine.

So decide on a fair price, split that in half and buy it twice. One for you and Steam, the other for a friend. :)
