The "I am finally going to finish that damn game" thread

I want to reinstall FF7 on my pc :( ... I know it will just consume me though- I played it when it first came out and loved it. Never again since but im so tempted.

Slightly scared its dated graphics might spoil it though :eek:

Prey, your not really missing much, the first 10 mins are better then the rest of the game.

Doom 3 is my fav FPS so far, really enjoyed it. Needs the THX? sound patch, volume up, lights off for best results.
 
The last game I made myself finish was quake 4 and I cant say I really enjoyed it that much, it was kind of a chore...

A game I havent finished and not sure I will is far cry, although I have a much better rig than when I last played it so you never know... I much prefer to play games I am enjoying like mass effect, Gears of war to be honest :)
 
Oblivion - which I am doing now, I am finishing every quest (faction, daedric, freeform, misc, expansion, addons, etc). Currently level 25 and not even done allies for bruma yet in the main quest.

Test Drive Unlimited - 100% finish but i doubt i will, can't do Tantulus (or however it's spelt) stupid timed-driving meter race.

Civilisation 4 (can you actually complete it or just finish a particular scenario? :P)

Lego Star Wars

Bioshock

GTA IV - Had it since release, not actually inserted the disk into my XBOX360 yet.

And no doubt i'll start another game making it longer for the other games to be completed.
 
one of the "i will never finish that damn game" is far cry

after a few monster levels i got really bored :(
 
I just finished episode 2 and portal...after many many months

I'm also in the STALKER camp...I just get started then after a couple of go's it just seems so overwhelming I give up
 
Just started metal gear solid twin snakes but want to finish it.
Had the darkness for a while but haven't started/finished it, same with uncharted
Have to go through ratchet and clank on ps3 too :P
 
Just completed Driver: Parallel Lines again, while the likes of Company Of Heroes (bored) GRID (got annoyed with it crashing) GRAW 2 (better online co-op) and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (lost my save) sit patiently on my shelf.

I've also got the HL series on steam but havent played it, I only brought the orange box for TF2 and Portal :D

And Flatout: Ultimate Carnage arrives soon :)
 
I've got Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay still installed on my current build and still to finish.

Just not had the time.

Also, even though it was buggy, I've still to complete Armed Assault which I haven't got around to reinstalling after my last reformat.
