The internet is running out?

you got bc2 antar?

You've gotta join us firing grenades, m60's and rockets out the back door of a black hawk yelling "get some" some time :D

WE need more of the old l4d players on there, people used to running round in 4 man squads :D

I have but I find myself with little to no time for gaming these days unfortunately :(

If I do get the chance I'll join in but as it stands I'm working most of the time.

I've found an easier way.

Copy an IP address.. paste it.. violá... 10.109.131.1(1)

So, apparently the IANA allocated the last two /8 address blocks a few days ago. But what does that actually mean? :3

It means we have to start testing out IPv6. There's a few bugs with translating IPv4 to IPv6. June 8th I think is the day that facebook, Google and others try it for a day.

I've seen that Comcast have started trialling IPv6 native for some of their users:

Each user has been delegated a /64 block of approximately 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 (18 quintillion) unique IPv6 addresses.

Thing is, like mentioned earlier in the threat, to start using IPv6 is going to require new routers and so on to be able to handle it (I assume network cards and so on don't matter, certainly my wireless card seems to have a local IPv6 address). Though whoever mentioned having to remember IPs also has a very valid point. My router is 192.168.2.1 nice and simple, but remembering an ipv6 address? Also could be similar for work environments, where IT guys know all the static IPs for the printers and so on, I imagine that'll be a bit of a headache too?

Not that we have a choice, mind.
