Rented a bluray last night, i would recommend it to anyone.
Starring Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman - she's HOT

Loosly based on the story of the shuttle Columbia disaster, what ever shot it down there was alien spores which infected the worlds population. Which is one of the current wacky theories out there atm. - the part where the shuttle was shot down by aliens.

What are you opinions?

seen it at the pictures when I was in manchester, great movie and not an all out sci fi fest. Good acting aswell especially by allot of the extras

I enjoyed the first version more with Donald Sutherland, it was nice to see Veronica Cartwright in it as she was in the original (and Alien). I recommend watching the 1978 version, which is also a remake of a 1956 one! So it's a remake of remake. There was also another film which followed the same plot a few years ago with this thing in water and a High School, dont recall it's name.

There was also an Abel Ferrara version in the 90's, I haven't seen that one though.
