First question, is anyone on beta 2 here ?
Does anyone have the issue that when in safari, the app store randomly opens ?
I know it's beta and problems occur, just wondering if this is a known issue or just related to my iPad

I removed the beta and went back to ios 5 because on my iPad it would stop connecting to my wifi network and when trying to sort the problem out using the settings page it would then proceed to hard lock the iPad.

Also I don't know if it was just me but after having my iPad left on sleep mode and trying to use it hours later to find it totally switched off? I havent seen any behaviour like that on ios5 so it must have been a bug of some kind.

Funnily enough I found that the beta 1 was far more stable than 2 but Siri and the alarm clock are a bit of a miss I have to say.
 
Had a few issues with it but it was mainly existing apps that are not ready for iOS6 I assume. The only other real issue was with the 3g tethering killing the phone. It would randomly tell me that 2 devices were connected, the 3g would be fine on the phone but after a while it would just die on my laptop that was connected to it. When I tried to turn it off, the settings screen would die and I would have to hold the power/home button to reset it.

Hopefully b3 will have sorted this issue out.

Does anyone know which IPSW file you're supposed to use for a UK iPad3 3G?

They provide two, one for each of the two US carriers. Does it only matter which you use if in the US and using 4G? Can we use either here in the UK?

You need to use the AT&T one for UK iPads. The Verizon one is for iPads with a CDMA radio.

I would imagine Google will be releasing their own stand alone app. Plus I would reserve judgement on the iOS maps until the final release, as clearly they're improving :)
 
Google can develop all the apps they want but Apple allowing it into the app store is the main problem.

I assume other companies have map apps (there are sat nav apps as well) so it shouldn't be a problem (key word being shouldn't :p haha)

Yeah that was the question I was asking really, whether Apple will allow it.

For those running Beta3 on their 4 or 4S, how stable are you finding it? Wondering whether to subject my phone to it.
