**The iPhone 5 accessory thread**

Not sure what Ill do - I went a bit over the top with my 4 but I liked the pixelcase I got free and ended up using a leather slipcase to hold it in.

Probably have it naked as I dont think screen protectors make much of a difference with a leather slipcase - its only when it sitting somewhere or in my pocket its likely to be damaged or dropped...

Need to pick up another usb to lightning cable for my car BT so I can charge but thats about it

Thanks for the heads up, I had forgotten about the £10 offer. That's what I'll do for the time being until more cases hit the market.
 
For those worried about the cost of the 30pin adapters, 3rd party ones have started popping up on a certain auction site for pre-order. Still not cheap at just over £10 but certainly a lot cheaper than the official ones.
 
Im after a leather slip case too, but after something that lets me have my headphones connected at the same time - am I just gonna have to have the phone upside down in the case?

Hmm on that second link it has cases for bumpered iP5s - are Apple even making bumpers for the iP5?

Ooo I like the UltraBlack/UltraClear - not sure which one would suit the iP5 in black though...

yea i have the UltraClear on my 4s white now and its excellent!

going to get a UltraClear for my new Black 5

also they come with earphone jack and connector protectors
 
Did you get any bubbles between the phone and case - I knoww cheaper clear cases had those issues? Did you bother with all the protectors?

I thinking of getting the UltraBlack so only just the Apple logo pokes through and maybe the black back looks more uniform - be great to see how your iP4S looks like as they never look the same as whats on the website!

Think Ill give up on the leather slipcase as I cant have the headphone connector blocked...

Why cant you put the phone in head-first?

Access to headphone jack + speakers unrestricted = you actually hear the phone ringing :p
 
My case arrived today, not bad, looks ok ish. Will be getting a new one once there's more choice though.

Hopefully this and the screen protectors will fit perfectly :D

I'd just put mine in upside down. My current Knomo case is designed so the phone goes in bottom first, but the Joli one doesn't look like it matters.

I don't know if Apple are doing bumpers but other people are.
 
Yeah Im a fan of Knomo cases but they dont make the old style cases with sides for the iP5 (the ones that have vol+ and - stamped) . Also I dont think any of theirs fit a bumper...

Who are doing iP5 bumpers out of curiosity? My mates after one but with the same feel as the Apple ones...

I got all my 4/4S bumpers off eBay, very similar feel
