After a few days of hesitation I finally took the plunge and ordered all the new parts for my first ever build! Couldn't have asked for an easier time, with reference to the finance company and being able to e-sign the contract, really speeds up the process and makes sure I get my shiny new loot as soon as possible! :D. Finance was approved instantly and all I have to do is wait for the two companies to contact each other tomorrow for confirmation of the order/payment.

I'm fairly confident that I will be able to put this together, will definitely be taking my time. Have had nothing but great advice/help from the other users here also :D

Will make sure to upload a detailed gallery of photos showing the process and finished product once I get it looking nice and tidy! I know myself that I spend most of my time drooling over other peoples kit! :p
 
Thanks guys! Just watching a few videos on the braided cables and just realized the corsair sp120 fans I ordered will have the stupid coloured wires! Is there some sort of white extension I can fit on to these to hide them?
 
Cheers guys! Should hopefully have the parts next week some time...(hopefully!!). Can't wait to get stuck in! I assuming most people here have built their own pcs? :)
 
Using the H100i, it came in a bundle with the cpu, sticking the corsair 120 sp fans onto the rad, depending on space, I may order another two and see if I can fit in a push/pull config. Still stuck in warehouse, 780 classified is currently out of stock, although ordered it while it was still in stock. Might have a long wait ahead of me :(
 
Always sucks when delays come on the delivery side of things. Maybe use the time to try to consider any bits you might have missed? I always find I'm short of screws/fittings etc at the last minute.
 
Came home from work to a lovely email telling me that my package is all packed up and ready to be shipped! On a side note I received a further email:

Could anyone explain this to me? :confused:
 
Looking the other day the 4770k & Corsair pack was out of stock, it might be worth asking in the customer section.
 
At the time of delivery I checked everything was in stock, but maybe the site is a little slow to update. I'm seeing now that they have 10+ in stock, so hopefully it will be sent with the rest if not in a separate package :). Plan is to water cool the gpu in the new year :)
 
Planning as of yet is very minimal due to the fact that my main focus is actually building the thing first! But my intentions were to have a separate loop for the gpu and keep the h100i on the cpu. But yes I've read that the 600T's are quite limited for space, so a lot of research and planning will have to be done. Still a thought for the future :)
