The journey starts here! :D

Love 600T builds. I had one when I first got into building. Really like the parts list to this build. Looking forward to it. That Mobo is fantastic quite fancy one myself.

Parts arrived today and Have just finished putting it together, updates etc. Only problem is that I'm stuck on vga. There are signs of life on HDMI but just a black screen. Going to be a long night!

Update: Got it working eventually. Time for bed now, as I'm up for work at half six! :p. Friday night shall consist of connecting up the fan controllers and tidying up cables to the best of my ability lol (almost forgot... Magners and pizza of course!). Not to mention lots of nice pics! :D

Nice parts. Have you worked out how the H100 will fit yet?

Oh, and I had a similar problem with black screen. Found disabling the HD4000 graphics worked a trick

Sorry for lack of pictures, will get them up tomorrow! at the moment I have everything running as it should. the h110i fit in nicely, unable to get push/pull due to the thermal armour not allowing for interior rad mounted fans, so I just have them mounted on the outside. Going to make a seperate post in the cpu forums, but will ask here also. I downloaded cpuz and noticed that my core voltage is at 1.744. Am I wrong in saying that this is insanely high? I still have everything at stock speeds. The forums I was searching though had people running clocks of 4.2 - 4.4 on volts of only 1.25?

Finally found some free time to get some pictures up!

So I had just finished a long day of work and was greeted by this lovely sight as I walked into my bedroom

I couldn't wait to tear into the boxes, so I got my trusty stanley knife and got to work!

I have to admit, I was very pleased with the packaging of the items. The boxing of the items themselves were yet another lovely surprise! I especially liked the box in which the motherboard came, giving me the satisfaction of peeling back that Velcro panel to reveal the beauty within! (It's the little things like this that I enjoy most!)

Time to start building!

For this being my first attempt at ever building a PC, I made sure I had youtube and google running in the background for any tutorials/guides that I might have needed. With that said, fitting all the components went extremely well, taking off the top mounted fan in advance to make room for the rad etc.

I left the cpu cooler until last as I kept putting it off as long as possible because I knew that within installing it lay the greatest potential for something horrible to happen. Alas I went in perfectly, although disappointed I could not fit the interior rad fans in due to the thermal armour!

This was the first fully complete photo I took. I have to admit I put no thought whatsoever into wiring up the motherboard. Spending the best part of an hour googling each and every code/abbreviation to see which cable went where. finally got there in the end!

The next few images are just interior shots, you might notice the cables look a far bit tidier compared to the above photo, especially towards the back of the case. (not to mention the black 24 pin atx which will hopefully be replaced by the end of the week!) There are still cables there that need replacing/white braiding so that will have to be done as well.

So that is all I have at the moment. Experience wise, I feel like I have learnt quite a bit from this and extended my knowledge of computers to a certain degree. The excitement of parts arriving and finally getting stuck into building was great, yet scary at the same time. I have to admit, as soon as I got the OS installed and everything running I swore that I would never do this again, but I can see this turning into an addiction lol!
I hope everyone enjoyed reading this and please feel free to comment/critique where necessary, as I said before this was my first attempt at buliding a pc and I will gladly take on any advice or criticism that will improve what I already have but more importantly, to stop me making silly mistakes in the future! Thanks guys, Conor.

Looking great and that's a pretty impressive spec. Make's me wish I had a pile of parts waiting at home so I could get cracking with my build...
