After a fateful near-miss, an assassin battles his employers and himself on an international manhunt he insists isn't personal. Watch The Killer, in select theaters and on Netflix November 10
Pretty good, not a wham bam action film. The main characters voiceover with his coldness / meticulous nature reminded me of American Psycho( the book ) .
A bit different, the first 75% I'd say was pretty good but I felt it kind of fizzled out in the last 25%, tried to be a bit clever at the end but it doesn't really work.
Newly edited trailer of "The Killer" (Dip huet seung hung) by John Woo. Starring Chow Yun-Fat, Danny Lee, Sally Yeh, Kong Chu, Kenneth Tsang, Barry Wong
Watched this last night, I really enjoyed! One of the best films I've watched in a while. I thought the ending, whilst unexpected, made sense.
But then I am a big fan of George Clooney's The American, a similar paid assassin film which met mixed reviews. For some, slow, boring, but that misses the point of the story - assassins hardly go round brandishing M60's. I think it's one of Clooney's best films.
