The last game you completed, and rating.

Just finished AC Syndicate, I zombied my way through the game, such an un-engaging series now where the plot feels lost. Also, the PC version is a stuttery affair, for smooth gameplay (with the help of freesync) I had to turn settings down a lot.

Agreed, the plot was really dull at times. Ran amazingly on my 1080Ti though and stunning too. Just finished it myself.

AC Syndicate - 6.5/10

SPAZ 2 - 7.5/10

AC Origins - Curse of the Pharaohs - 8/10

Beautiful environments, mystic enemies, great looking new gear, level cap to 55, lots of new content, fun idea. Very much enjoyed this and fulfilled my final fix of AC Origins. Looking forward to the next AC game. More than double my previous game time of any other AC game.

Assassin's creed Rogue - 6.5/10.
Having played this after a significant gap from Black Flag, I still felt like I was playing the same game. The game itself did not clarify much on the core story line but was probably laying foundation for the next games in the series. Did shed some light on post Desmond Miles events in one of the temples that I was not clear on when I played the previous games based on the emails and notes collected. There were still some minor bugs in the game with one or two occasions where I was stuck during hiding in a bush. Enjoyed the naval game play much like the previous game.
Probably going to skip Unity and Syndicate, as I have managed to grab AC : Origins on the sale. Hopefully I havent missed much, might watch some youtube videos to be upto speed.

I liked the story angle of Rpgue, but I skipped all but the main quests and just rushed through it.

I didn’t mind unity and syndicate - they do some things better than origins and odyssey. Perhaps do them after origins and odyssey.

Tropico 6 - 7.5/10

Pros
- It has the tropico charm and humour
- Where does the time go?
- Runs well, even with an increased population cap and an older CPU
- lots of new, interesting features such as raids and trade routes
- lots of new buildings and upgrades
- a great map generator that with a little practice allows you to generate any map/scenario you wish to
- the new multiple island concept
- some challenging missions

Cons
- no social security edict leading to a modern metropolis with broke retirees in shacks
- no continual campaign like T5 with only disconnected missions
- the maps lack life
- rebel radio is really lacking
- rebel attacks work a little strangely currently

Anno 1800 - 9.5/10

You can't really complete a game like Anno, but I have sunk a fair bit of time into it and will likely sink many times longer into it too. What it does it does extremely well. They are planning a lot more for the game too. I only don't give it 10 as it released with a few irritating bugs (these will hopefully be fixed today).

Doom 2016 - 8.5/10

Having attempted to get into it multiple times I finally persevered and ended up really enjoying it. Took some adjusting having just finished Black Mesa e.g. I kept trying to reload for the first 1/3 of the game. The damage modelling is fantastic, the sounds fantastic, the visuals brilliant.

I will wait for Doom Eternal to come down slightly in price and will then fire that up too.

Two Point Hospital - Off the Grid DLC

7/10

I completed the new DLC today - 'Off the grid'. It reminded me what I love about this game and they have made a good few QOL improvements since I last played. It was quite challenging at times too. I'll wait until the rest of the DLC is in a sale to pick it up.
