The last game you purchased on DVD which had to be played from DVD?

I think Bioshock.

Though I'm still waiting for my "Big Box Edition" Kickstarter reward of Broken Age which I assume is going to have a DVD or Blu-ray with the game on it.

Battlefield 2 for me. I've had a handful of boxes and discs since but all been discarded after the code has been redeemed/

I used to buy them when I had a crappy internet connection which was only until last year, that's probably why they still sell a lot in this country. Most people still have crappy connections and can't download 10s of GBs before amazon can chuck a DVD though the door (for some reason is often cheaper to buy the DVD as well) :P

For me I think it was GTA5. So pretty "recent".

Call of Duty - World at war.

Since then,All have been digital downloads or Blu-ray games (PS4).

Although to be honest, even though digital download is convenient,I do like to have a card copy + case of the game,I still have a DVD drive in the PC.

this.still have it on my desk :D

Dawn of War ultimate pack - no idea when I purchased it but still have it kicking about and one thing I can tell you is I really don't miss the crazy noises coming from the cd drive!

Anno 1404 probably. My case doesn't even have a space for optical drive so I have external one for the rare occasions I need to use dvd.
