I've put some Verdone down today, how long will it take to work?

Also, how long should I wait before seeding? I don't intend to do it until the cooler wetter weather hits at the end of summer anyway, but will I be ok in about a months time?

Yeah, a month sounds about right.
It'll give the weedkiller time to work and early September is a good time to seed.

OK thanks, it would be good to get some updates from others who posted pictures back in the spring.

The weed killer worked well. Scarified and over seeded this week, just keeping it watered now.

Thought I would give this thread a bit of a bump as IVe got the following to do:

- remove as much moss as possible
- remove plenty weeds
- scarify
- seed a new area

What is the best method to do the above? I have some lawn sand that is meant to tackle the moss but what about a weed killer for the lawn? Is there anything out there that the pro's use? I have abig lawn so its going to get pretty expensive if I have to get it from B&Q or similar.

Hoping to complete on our new house mid / late September and the alwn at the rear is something I want to get looking tip top.

What can I do to it at this time of year so I can see an improvement next spring / summer?
