You can buy used oled in vgood condition if you look around for around £220 average. The older models obviously cheaper.
 
I think it's the new audience that go into gaming and go with Nintendo whereas those who have done a fair share of gaming expect more in terms of hardware and performance.

If I remember critics were saying the GC didn't get enough developers because it could only store 1.5gb data and wasn't full size which was also way cheaper to use.

But yea let's see what they have in store for their next console and line up.

It's a shame it didn't release with totk because 20fps is not really acceptable.
