The Lost Crown : A Ghost-hunting Adventure ( Great Review Score! )

But still...

Why not get that damn digital download service available for uk users aswell? , i downloaded it at 300kb/s via a backdoor buy :). Thats what i was complaining about originaly :(

Great :)

Can you also ask to add the ability to SKIP text , nothing worse than accidently clicking on some text i've already read/listened to.

I was also thinking of asking him for the name and address of the lead characters voice artist...so i could track the annoying £$%&$£@ down and strangle him to death lol

I'm...............Not Sure............What.........You.............Mean Mr Superficial!!....

Aye it annoys the hell out of me too as no one in their right mind would speak like he does.

As for the game, I have since progressed to the ghost section and I'm majorly disappointed. Seems like it's been over egged a bit for my liking. I see more bad points to the game than good points.

I had to laugh at the dialog the 1st time I spoke to that woman from the Reeds. She didn't say anything bad to me and the main character starts having a go at her. Very strange.

I think it's a case of the Harrison Ford Blade Runner syndrome. The Guy doing Nigels voice must have hated doing it...or alternatively has never spoken to a human being in his life. He's prob where they got inspiration for that Antique seller with Jemima puppet.

On a humorus note if you click an area which makes him walk to , keep clicking fast and the guy slides on one foot! :D

Hi George,

It's 1024 x 768. The engine used, Wintermute, dictated that a resolution is chosen by the developer. I personally like to switch resolutions, depending on what machine I'm using...but...I think The Lost Crown looks pretty good on a 24" (it was tested on a 24" Samsung). Most of the visuals are real-time, so the engine is constantly redrawing the screen content, so there's a lot less discernable pixelation. The game, in general, has a grainy, filmic look, which also helps.

I got this through dubious mechanisms, and I've now completed it. It was pretty good, and I'll buy it when it's available.

For those who hate the main voice actor, he's the writer! I couldn't stand his voice acting, that and the guy who does the welsh guy (why didn't they just change the character instead of getting a guy to give a terrible welsh/pakistani impression). More professional voice actors on the next one please!

If you right click on the CB unit after coming out of nanny noha's ( after the cat story ) the old cutscene kicks in and you restart many scenes back which you just did!

You can also replay cutscenes and say the same damn thing as if the scene hasn't happened yet!
