A friend of mine was kind enough to lend me his copy of The lost room on bank holiday monday, i watched it from start to finish and i must say.... WOW. What great telly it was, really glad he offerd it to me and cant believe i had never seen it before now, one part of me asks why the hell it wasnt made into a reguler series because of its quality compared to some of the crap floating on the surface that is T.V, the other part of me is glad so as there was no chance to butcher such a great show.
kind of dissapoints you when you think of all the great story lines that could have branched off from this 6 part mini series but i think it wraped it up well enough to leave you wanting more without feeling robbed of the conclusion it needed.
Plenty of questions answerd and more than enough left to keep you guesisng, i really recommend it to any lover of good Sci-Fi, infact a lover of great telly as a whole, a must see indeed!!!

I watched it when Sky One went through a phase of showing random mini-series and really enjoyed it. I felt that the ending was such that they could have picked it up as a proper series, although I agree with you that it could easily have been ruined. I don't remember it being 6 parts though, and wiki seems to agree with my thought that it was 3, although maybe it was 3x 2 hours.

In the states they had it as a 3 parter, I think over here it was a 6 parter. Really enjoyed it as it was a relief from some of the crap that is normally shown.

Great mini series. I wish other series were as efficient in story telling as this was. Too much filler in other series. I like the fact it had a beginning, middle and end! Not Beginning, waffle, more waffle, end, no its not the end is it, waffle, waffle, series 10, waffle....
