*** THE LOWEST PRICE EVER ON A GTX 670 - PRE-ORDER ONLY!! ***

lol so you still get the haribo then.... good times! ;)

btw i am going to try to sell the game(s) to help fund the card as i have so many untouched games to play.

is it true it comes with a scratch card which you need to go to nvidia? if so do i just give this to the potential buyer, or do i need to scrathc this off, go to nvidia and then generate some other codes for the games?

sorry if this is a dumb quesiton

It is really crap. Advertised as supporting SLI but not including the required bridge.

There is money saving but that really takes the biscuit tbh.

Is it always Nvidia that don't supply them, I think I always got when I bought an AMD card... They should put one in every second box at least, that way most people would have a spare somewhere :)

Both of mine are auto boosting to 1155 with only setting the power target to %114.

Happy with that.

Edit - Under Crysis 3 they sit at 1105Mhz so a bit lower.

Can't beat 1080p 60Hz overkill...

My 670 arrived today and its also saying its boosting to 1150mhz on my gpu widget and msi afterburner but on gpuz it says its boosting to about 980 or something.

On another note did anyone elses 670 have like marks on the back of the pcb? It looks like its got stains on it or something.

Nope.. Nothing on either of mine that I can see.

So which is right Msi afterburner or gpuz? Im guessing GPUz for clocks.

Also as to the stains, it almost looks like something has been spilled over the whole rear side of the gpu, there are finger smudges too. Wether this is down to it being a refurbished card (I hope not) or its down to just thats how it ships from the manufacturer, I dont know.

Hopefully someone on here has some insight.

ok, im gonna go with gpuz.

Anyone elsen otice these cards are HOT? My 680 lightning ran with fans at 50% at like 70C max even with a huge voltage overclock, this 670 PE is at 78C and fan is at 100% and barely overclocked 50mhz...

My top card in SLi has maxxed at 71.c whilst running Crysis 3 the bottom only just hits 65.c. The fans are only just audiable.

I was surprised how cool and quite they run in SLi as the coolers dump most of the air into the case.

Hows your case cooling setup ?

Probably not that great considering im using a Corsair 700D. Theres pretty much no front or bottom intake fans on this case, im waiting to do watercooling.

Also after doing some looking on the net I think the stains on the back of the card is flux residue, seems normal.

Anyone with a 670 gonna watercool theirs? im torn between a gpu only block like the swiftech mcw82 universal block or buying a full block (only one that seems to excist is on a german site and it says msi gtx 670 PE OC edition), but its 85 quid bit expensive.

Unless you're desperate to try watercooling, you could get another case with better airflow. Would probably work out cheaper and the twin frozr coolers on those MSI cards are nice and quiet, even in SLI

I think airflow ia poor. Looks like my max oc on this card is 1102mhz boost, so only gained 120mhz even with more volt. Pretty poor.
