The Man Whose Arms Exploded

yes, i can garentee that many people who read the steriod sections on MT will feel a little tempted after seeing the gains, and of course, after reading the mountain of information that is on there.

risks as bad?
yes the risks are as bad as they would have you believe, if you were to be stupid. No more than being stupid when taking paracetamol though tbh.

What is MT?

There is another program somewhere on Youtube I believe that just includes some prats who know nothing of what they're doing and give bodybuilders an even more negative name.

Valentino was an idiot, but it's not to say everyone is.

Was that an american program with a mixed martial artist, model and a gay guy?

Man that Valentino was class and what an entertaining program. Why no mention of Synth?

The program makers were too busy making the average viewer think (evil) steroids were responsible for all his size and problems

Whatever happened to wanting to look big AND conditioned?

It's still what a whole lot of people want, we just can't equate for idiots. Synthol use makes the muscle look mis-shapen and ridiculous. I do not see any aesthetic appeal in the appearance Synthol promotes.

The way it works should be, and should always be: You work hard in the gym and you get results, you eat correctly and push yourself and you achieve results. For me, I could never simply even just train for size I will always have that stand off between strength and size, so not just training for one or the other.

What would you all prefer? To be Big and real strong, or to be bigger but not quite as strong as the other guy? Strength is something I strive for.

I'd go with bigger. There's a natural variation between size and strength but i'd rather be at the bigger end of 200kgs deads rather than the smaller end of 220. Does that make sense?

Perfect sense :)

Have you got a goal, i.e. a size you want to reach, a weight or simply going by the mirror? And targets on the weights you lift?

When i started at just under 10st, i thought 12st would be enough..but it wasn't

Then i thought 13st......nope!

14st?.......nah ;)

Looking at the pics of Chong (oo err) I think 15stone could be good - but chances are by the time i get there 16st will look even better :D

What i want is the size (and strength) to stand out from the average joe but without being freaky. Strictly speaking (13st/6ft/~10%bf) I'm probably not far off but i'm on a roll - Chong, i'm coming for ya! ;)

Steroids can have devastating effects. I have had first hand experience of this, although not with Anabolic, but the principles and side effects are the same.

Short term, i.e 4 weeks or less, usually no problems, any longer and all the classic steroid side effects start to manifest. Its not scaremongering, its medical fact.

The idiot who said his heart attack/stroke was nothing to do with steriods was living in dreamland.

Most people that take steroids MUST be complete morons, with little regard for thier health or knowledge of exactly what they are taking.

Fools.

Eat 5000kcals a day, take creatine monohydrate, drink loads of water, train hard and heavy and your weight will fly up mate ;)

You've got to be willing to lose the six-pack for a few months though.....

Rubbish. 2/3rds of the needle exchange in manchester is from steroid users. the place is an exchange primarily for druggies...

there will be an interesting interview on Radio 5 Live tomorrow morning with a MT member and some well informed person who has studied steriods for many years.

have a look on any forum that allows AAS discussion and you will see a load of well informed people posting many times about many things and guiding people in the right direction in terms of usage (both dosage and even recommendations to people to NOT do AAS for various reasons).
