Teaser Trailer

Looks good to me. The power entanglement and changing places randomly could be fun.

Though if people don't watch the Marvel TV shows, they won't know who 2 of the 3 characters are so that will be confusing for a mass audience. I assume they will do some kind of exposition in the film to re-introduce Rambeau and Kamala Khan, for people that don't watch everything.

Honestly... I didn't like Captain Marvel, I didn't like Miss Marvel (but I wasn't really the demographic) and the other one is clearly forgettable because I can't even remember her from Wandavision.....not that I thought much of Wandavision either in all honesty (marvel have been far less successful than dc in tv series). It will be interesting to see how well it does seeing as they're arguably the least liked comic book characters and as harsh as this sounds, female..... the black widow movie didn't exactly do great even accounting for covid etc.

Based on the trailer... the cat/flerken is hopefully getting more screen time, that's likely going to be the new groot/baby groot/baby yoda for the year, or at least that's what Disney is likely hoping for.

Biggest issue for me is I think marvel movies have run their course.... you might get the odd outlier still like spiderman and maybe antman but digging into the lesser characters or 'swapping' characters just to forcefully extend the lifespan isn't going to work well imo.... basically the comic book fans will get burn out.

Any time Larson is interviewed now, I pay more attention to the reactions of her co-starts after than Don Cheadle/Chris Hemsworth interview.

Agree with that, just watched that trailer and it honestly just seemed.......boring. The buzz that was once there in phase 1-2 with storylines just isn't there anymore. That could be down to me personally idk.

Well if you consider the first 'marvel' film was back in 2008 which is 15 years ago and then you think about the age of the 'original' viewers, you're looking at realistically 30 year olds, if not older... and imo the movies haven't really grown up with us, if anything they've got 'dumbed down' and arguably 'politically correct' for younger viewers...

Jesus can we just get a hard reboot already.

Every character is a joke, every interaction is a joke, it's all just one big joke that's completely devoid of any material that made the comic books worthwhile reading in the first place.

The young character is really annoying every time she speaks it makes me cringe.

It's a fun concept for a film but unless they swap places when brie Larson is in the shower I'm not too bothered and can definitely wait for streaming if I even bother.

Deffo not aimed at my demographic.
