They been hiding this dirty little secret and keep pushing it back lol.

This is going to be glorious in all the wrong ways :p

Hmm even though she’s looks like she lost a good bit of weight Brie still has a nice set of bumpers

I didn't like Captain Marvel, I didn't like Miss Marvel (but I wasn't really the demographic) and the other one is clearly forgettable because I can't even remember her from Wandavision.....not that I thought much of Wandavision either in all honesty (marvel have been far less successful than dc in tv series). It will be interesting to see how well it does seeing as they're arguably the least liked comic book characters and as harsh as this sounds, female..... the black widow movie didn't exactly do great even accounting for covid etc.

Based on the trailer... the cat/flerken is hopefully getting more screen time, that's likely going to be the new groot/baby groot/baby yoda for the year, or at least that's what Disney is likely hoping for.

Biggest issue for me is I think marvel movies have run their course.... you might get the odd outlier still like spiderman and maybe antman but digging into the lesser characters or 'swapping' characters just to forcefully extend the lifespan isn't going to work well imo.... basically the comic book fans will get burn out.

They'd run there course at phase 2 for me. Everything after was just same with a different skin applied. The humour is the same, the story lines are same. Just different colours of explosions, different outfits etc.

I'm amazed it's lasted this long being successful if I'm honest.

I watched most of phase 3. And it's end. But it was a slog and the latter part of phase 3 I missed a lot out.

Never read them in the first place so the past ten years has been as boring as hell to me. Marvel who? What? Who cares? Who is stupid enough to believe in superheroes anyway?

I don’t think I have seen any of the Captain America films from beginning to end and I haven’t seen the first Brie film. I decided to watch both trailers back to back just as a comparison because I didn’t think it could be that different it’s just a trailer.

The winter soldier trailers is soo much better. Not even a competition.

Some elements that picked up on

The WS actually gives you a synopsis on the story. They tease just enough to get you interested without giving it away.

The marvels trailers is centred around the swapping places gimmick. Which to be honest doesn’t seem that interesting. I know nothing of substance about the story (not sure if that is a point of concern or not) and the tone is much more light hearted to the point where it could be mistaken for a comedy. Which leads to below.

The marvels has way too many jokes/gags whatever you want to call them. The WS trailer has one set of jokes at the very beginning and it seems like the sort of friendly banter you would have with mates. It’s just everywhere in the marvels. Like the first scene in the spacesuit should really be treated with some seriousness. Like that girl should be panicking or at least be concerned with how she got there. Nope she’s cracking jokes.

The WS Trailer is sprinkled with the allure of action scenes and bombastic set pieces. If I was being generous the marvels has 2 maybe 3 action scenes and they aren’t that interesting.

As a trailer for an action film I think the marvels trailer is a failure. If I didn’t know any better I would think it is a comedy film.

Hmm I’m going to predict that for all the press releases work and talk shows thatttttttt

Brie will have those puppies on show to get the male gaze interested.

I must say after seeing the trailer and all the thumbnails I'm slightly interested hah
