Completed the main story yesterday as a soldier, replaying it now as a Renegade BioticI'm gonna take my time with this character.
Ah sweet!if you like KOTOR youll like MA its very similar in its mechanics but you have more control of the fights.
is there a limit cap for the characters...?
cause I am replaying it with the same character.. starting at level 47 only at harder setting
Anyone played this on a 4800 series card? Does AA work? 8xAA from CCC seems like its there but the reason I am asking is that I applied 24xAA and it was still playable![]()
Did you do the UT3 thingy to get AA to work?
I believe the game doesn't support AA natively.
I think it's a recent thing in the 8.7 beta (or possibly hotfix) which enabled it via CCC override on 4800 cards. It's still not possible to enable it in the game. What UT3 thing? When I applied 8xAA you could tell it was there, I tried some other methods but that made the whole game blury, just 24xAA was odd when that was enabled been only slightly choppy so probs did not work.
Can anyone help I'm pulling what little hair I have left out.
Just bought the game and installed it under Vista 32 fully patched, latest service pack. Running a Xonar DX2 sound card and 4870 with the latest hot fix.
When I try to start the game it just sits there spinning the blue cursor. I have tried everything.
1. Turned UAC off
2. Run as admin
3. Compatibility mode
Totally at a loss. It will just not start.
I thought this game did some sort of internet authorisation? It doesnt seem to do anything.
Also what the 2nd DVD for. Doesn't seem to do anything.
Help![]()
I had a lot of trouble and found it was the hardware audio was on that caused my blue screens and i would go over to the forums as quite a few people have got the same thing as you.
and someone posted on the mass effect forums about trouble when configuring the game from main menu page and not once game is loaded and using options menu.
