No idea if there has been a thread for this show already; if so, apologies.

Check it out on Netflix - excellent cast, show is set in Florence and follows the rise of the Medici banking dynasty.

Decent show, but it's on cloud Cuckoo land as far as history is concerned. Why let facts get in the way of a good drama, eh?

I look forward to S2.

It was reasonable, a notch below The Borgia's, and a couple of notches below the Tudor's.

I'd rank it alongside Marco Polo.
