The most amazing thing on the net ever.

Please don't be mean to Magic_x_uk. What happened is that someone posted that it was easy to work out purely because they've experienced a similar trick before and had it explained to them. Then everyone does the trick and sees the explanation on this forum and pretends they got it all along. It's just a bit of fun! Woeful.

I think I see now where it/I fell over, as said above it's a random image for each number. Like if I chose 10 to start with, 10-1-0 = 9 which is bread maker, if you choose 10 again then the result is different and it gets it wrong.

This is where I stumbled for a moment but all is good I guess...

Aaaaaaaactually... an extremely similar one was on here oh, about 3 years ago and we had a thread about it where we tried to work out how it worked :p

basically anytime you get any two digit number and minus the digit's it'll always be a multiple of 9.

So what happens is, the program will make sure that items in boxes 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81 and 90 are all the same item

That was it will be right for all possible outcomes.

It's supposed to be that every multiple of 9 is the same, but they can be any item. It seems some of the multiples aren't always the same as the one she chooses though. I'd say it's a creator fail.

always seems the same here, are you going right through or refreshing the result bit?

It's not a creator fail as long as you click the "Start Again" or whatever button.

The result changes every time, but the multiples of 9 are always the same.

Well just think how stupid the average person is then realise half the population are more stupid than that person. Then give them the link in the OP and voila you have some of ther replies in here! People saying it doesn't work make me sad that they can't do simple maths :(
