Couldn't watch his painfull videos more than 20 seconds. Prefer the much funnier trey ones.
 
Got that first why the ps3 sucks one is poor. He's not even good on camera, why would anyone subscribe to his appalling efforts.

Apparently the creamcast failed because it had no exclusives :D
 
I do wonder why people are such extreme fan boys/girls, its not like MS, Ninty or Sony are going to reward you in any way by supporting there console like that.

Some people just need to feel part of a group. Sometimes it's done to appease their inbuilt herd mentality, sometimes it's done to give them an identity when they haven't got one themselves (because they're not mentally developed yet. See: Take That fans, or whoever is 'hot' right now).

Basically, fanboying up your console of choice fulfills a need.

or mommy and daddy will only buy them 1 console.

I don't ever remember any fanboyism back in the snes/mega drive days. I had a SNES and my friend had a Mega Drive. We never once argued over which was better. We used to always enjoy playing both systems.

Fanboyism (in regards to gaming) was alive and well during the Spectrum/C64 era. In fact, the staff of both Zzap 64 and Crash magazines were one of the main culprits, stoking up the fires every single issue of both mags.

Q.These were grown adults, so why were they doing it?
A. Making your readers feel like they've made the right choice in hardware is good for business.

The similarities between the C64/Speccy arguments and the ps3/360 arguments (in terms of relative power) are strikingly similar.

"C64 HAS MORE MEMORY!!!!" ~~~~ "THE CELL IS MORE POWERFUL!!"
"THE SPECCY HAS MORE GAMES!!!" ~~~~ "THE 360 HAS MORE GAMES!!"

Funny how history repeats itself.

Yeah, apart from the extra memory, I think the c64 handled stuff like colour collision better? I had a speccy, and was really happy with it. But generally, most games tended to be better on the c64.

One thing remains true, regardless of the years gone by. C64, Spectrum, 360, PS3. These are all fantastic machines, and nobody has made a bad purchase with any of them.
