** THE MOST EPIC MONITOR DEAL EVER - HAZRO HZ27WC ONLY £349.99 INC. VAT! **

Yeah I'm veerry tempted by the Dell as well. Anyone around that has compared the 2 directly?

At the price its not a comparison, yes the DELL has the edge, especially on connectivity but this is half the price, so its literally no contest.

I figured it might be the case, I had read somewhere that this was equally as good as the Apple LED displays which are £800...which if it was true then it seemed feasible despite the difference in price between the Hazro and the Dell.

... I also watch quite a lot of films on my pc (my 24" DGM monitor has a resolution of 1920x1200) so how would a 2560x1440 Resolution show films.

I have one of these monitors and it does not feature HDCP, unlike the hz27wA version. This means I cannot watch Blu-ray discs on my PC anymore.

This may not be a problem for you though; I'm assuming you "rip" all your films to you hard-drive first?

Do I? Don't I?

Need a big monitor but I'm not sure I trust the brand.

HDCP isn't an issue, just hesitate because I'm a brand whore lol.

I upgraded to this monitor from a 2209WA, there is a huge difference.

You're most likely struggle to cope with the reflections in the first few days but you'll get used to it.

It's a superb monitor for the price, I just wish I hadn't paid £430 for it. :p
Thanks for that (wallet however is not so happy :p).

I cracked, ordered at 4:40, I want it tomorrow :(

It says it will arrive on Monday, I suppose I can wait, but I am really hoping those boys in the warehouse are still kicking about.

Make sure you have a GPU powerful enough to handle this resolution if you game a lot.

Investing in a calibrator would be a good idea if you do photo-editing on the other hand.
Yeah, that's why I'm still holding off. A gtx260 will not cut it at that res. :(
