My fabulous ship
Just bought myself probably the most expensive item of clothing to date and was wondering what everyone else has spent in the past on a single clothing item.
Cant be a combination I.e a whole suit but can be just the jacket.

just bought a pair of trousers for £275.00

whats the most expensive item of clothing you've bought?

Think for me it has to be some Adidas Torsion Artillery boots that I paid £140.00 for when they first came out years ago. Quite happy with £8.00 jeans from Asda now :p

A Nicole Farhi jacket. Can't remember how much it cost but loved it. Just wish I could afford to throw money away like that nowadays.

I deliberately forget how much clothes cost me... Am bit of a designer whore tbh. :(

£160 on a pair of shoes is the last one I can remember before I realised just how much I spend & gave up caring and got the "if I like it I like it" attitude.

EDIT: Though £275 on trousers is a fair whack more than I'd go!

Not gay.... Honest.

P.S. E-peen +1000

A 100% cashmere overcoat, it's gorgeous - £400. Good old M&S - I know I probably look terribly old in it, but I preferred it to other coats I found at the time including Jaeger!

I generally buy decent clothes because I like clothes that last - I only buy in the sales though, I'm no fool :p Ted Baker tshirts/shirts for < £30 - yes please!

Jeans £170

Only other thing that comes close are my Visvims which were around £100 and Leather jacket which was also £100. Clothes whore yes.

£100 for a decent jacket is cheap. But I don't understand people spending £170 on jeans. Just doesn't compute to me

Coat for about £100.

Reckon my next one will cost more. I'm really looking forward to wearing a winter coat again... I'm odd :o

A pair of pants big enough to contain my ePeen, they cost over 9000!

choked on my own tongue a bit there, well done!

about 60 for a jacket, i'm not a big spender when it comes to clothes, failing that, the most frivolous purchase was £40 for a hat :D
