Wireplay on quake II at a mates and Action quake.

Me and him building a computer for me from spare parts getting it working and me getting the internet at home and some naughty phone bills for a few months lol.
 
I remember replacing a 300 baud modem for a 1200/75 then using the early Viewdata, Prestel and Prestel Gold services - then the early compuserve. I think it was Prestel that was used for the early online banking with the bank of scotland. Only they and the Clydesdale Bank did online banking in those days, closely followed by a small building society - I think it was the Leicestershire Building Society.

It introduced me to the delights of online Chat Rooms, Email and Online Gaming (M.U.D.).
I remember uploading stuff used to take a bloody age, as the modem was something like 1200/75 baud :eek:

I was an active user for a while, 1986 - 1988, if my memory serves me.
