Decided this needs its own thread.

4 episodes in and I am LOVING it, certainly way better that Shadow & Bone.

Think a Victorian X-men kinda hybrid, with your typical HBO quality.

Casting is spot on, none of the characters annoy me (which is very rare, there's always one or 2 characters in a show that annoy me) and it is very engaging.

A Joss Whedon show.

Which is usually a good sign for me, but I'm really not sure about this! Whedons strength is usually the characters, and so far I'm not really liking anyone.

Any idea why the rating has tanked for this on rotten tomatoes? I'm pretty sure it was above 70% last time I checked... is it because of the recent allegation against the director Joss Whedon?

That, or the usual suspects who review-bomb anything featuring female or female-identifying lead characters finally caught up to it ;)

Or it could just be **** and anything with a male lead is nothing but oppression of woman yada yada yada.

Found it about dull tbh.

I watched 2 episodes and found it very average (5/10) the story and characters I don't find interesting

I put the first Episode on with the kids thinking it was some family adventure/sc-fi series for us all to watch, the first 10 minutes definately seemed like it was with the magic and that ridicoulous escape electric car that would look futuristic even now let alone in the 1800's. then they started saying the F word and naked ladies started to apear lol, kids fantasy sc-fi and nudism/bad swearing do not mix so WTF/10 and wont be watching anymore :D

I take it you've never HBO'd before? :p

Only watched the first episode so far but it's intrigued me enough to watch some more. Am I correct in thinking people don't remember the ship? People seem to quickly go back to whatever they were doing after it passes and it would explain people's confusion over where the touched came from.
