just give some info on the show season 1 is 12 episode total, initially it was going to be 10 episode long but they decided to give it an extra two episodes as the first season is broken into two parts due to corvid and JW exiting the show. part 2 hasn't gotten a released date yet due to JW exit and corvid and new show runner has been promoted. as for season 2 from what i read so far it depends how well part 2 does, as their most likely going to be changes as it has a new show runner.
 
I don't understand why so many official reviews are slating this. It's not perfect but I really enjoyed it and, unlike a number of mystery type shows, they've struck a nice balance of giving answers while also having those answers lead to more questions.

I guessed Amalia was from the future by the fact she 'knew things she shouldn't' and the turns are linked to the person so seeing the future made sense. A lot of people thought it was aliens and as it turns out it's both.

Now the long wait for the second half of the season.

from what i understand a lot of the slating has absolutely nothing to do with the show but everything to do with JW.
