N64 pad for me, that was just nigh on perfect for everything. The games were made to take advantage of the unique layout properly too.

You're all looking at the wrong company, the dualshock was the best design. The analogue stick was positioned perfectly under the thumb (Which is what annoys me about the 360 pad) then you have the obligatory d-pad and 4 buttons on the right.

I know the PS4 pad fixes this but the DualShock analogue sticks were never my bag because they didn't have zones for the most often used angles like the Nintendo sticks did and that bothered me. At least MS put little studs on the sticks so if you were blindly sticking it up or down etc you knew the exact angle without having to even think!

Also, such doge. Wow.

Convex tops and weak resistance made the DS3 sticks horrible to use IMO. Same goes for the crappy triggers. They also seemed to be made for small Japanese hands which is reasonably understandable.

360 pads were way better for everything except fighting games for me. Each to their own I guess...

The Dpad on the 360 controller was really, really dire though. Nintendo made the best dpads :)
