Front landing gear or not, vertical landing jet landing vertically isn't the biggest of surprises.

The front landing gear failure on a Harrier, lands damn well stillwould've cushioned the nose stool though
Great aircraft, it did its job, served it's purpose for years.
Stool does have a cushion on it from what I can see.
Fantastic aircraft, I can remember the days they used to hover over the harbour when the Red Arrows came over.
Should have included the SNES controller the Playstation one was based on (the PS1 was originally a joint Nintendo/Sony venture before they fell out hence the controller basically being an ergonomic SNES one with 2 extra triggers).
Regardless, it's not a simple operation and this situation displays great control and accuracy.
