The Spanish Aviation Authority say that was absolutely fine, to me though it seems like either someone at ATC messed up or there was miscommunication between two people in ATC. Because if he was on the runway or anywhere close the flight shouldn't have been cleared to land :confused: That could have beat Flight 1736 and Flight 4805.

e; Perhaps not the SkyTeam flight seems to be luxury travel and therefore will have a much less people on board and probably is VIP class throughout. But change those planes to near full A380s and :eek:
