The first appearance of the Millennium falcon in a sequel for 30 odd years... silly camera spin is the absolute minimum to be expected!

The first appearance of the Millennium falcon in a sequel for 30 odd years... silly camera spin is the absolute minimum to be expected!

The camera spin is only to correct the camera post loop - the short stabilized gif cuts the loop out.

The Falcon spins mid loop so its the right way up post loop - whats kind of interesting is it seems to be a pretty standard barrel roll attack used in modern fighters...

These kinds of visuals shouldn't be any surprise - it's JJ Abrams, you know what you're going to get.

If anything the visuals seem to be pretty sparse for Abrams, not all that much going on in the shots etc, but some well framed set pieces.
