My LianLi V2000B, had it for a few years now and it's been a very good case. Added a side fan, modded the back to take the long series PSU, Stealthed the DVD drive, and recently added the Scythe front intake fan. I don't actually see much of it as it sits on the floor beneath the desk. Difficult to take photos of as the blue LEDs seem very bright in the photos, so I took one with flash and one without.

Because it's under the desk it's really difficult to see the HD activity LED, so I piggy-backed a remote LED and put it where I can see it - center of the pic below. A USB slot-load DVD drive is on the left, again easy to get at.

Made a few modifications to my case, added a new psu to replace my pc power and cooling silencer and replaced the front fans with some scythe S-flex.

Helios that's stunning. Have you done any undervolting of the fans? How's the noise level overall?

edit: is that a Lian Li BS-xx just above your graphics card?

Thanks for the heads up Fireskull i did not even notice that i put the psu in upside down
TBH i'd say it's fine either way. Yes you'd get cooler air from below but you'd also be drawing in some dust too - it's swings and roundabouts as far as i'm concerned.

Plus as it's at the bottom of the case it would probably be drawing in the 'cooler' case air anyway as it's positioned now.

Most cases have the PSU sat at the top drawing all the hot air from the components below anyway - they're designed to cope with a little warm air! :D

@ Helios - lovely case matey!!!

No i haven't undervolted the fans (not too sure how to do that though), they are a bit loud compared to the lian li ones but they are apparently very good in restrictive airflow situations so I got them. They are pretty effective but the noise you hear is mostly the vast amount of air being moved.

Yeah the lian li bs-08 fan is on top of my graphics card. I needed it to extract hot air from the cpu area since my gcard runs cools enough.

And thanks :D, my pride and joy, it's actually my first personal build as well hehe.

Forgot to mention, that fan you see attached to the hdd cage is fixed by cable ties lol and one of the fins had previously broke so a bit of superglue and it's up and running, it doesn't cause any vibrations at all!

Nice case and build.

Does your Lian Li BS-08B extract hot air at all? I got mine below my gfx card and i carnt feel much coming out of it... :(

Can definitely feel air coming out of it but I replaced the fans with some 1600rpm lian li ones. Thing is, after I just checked right now, the air doesn't feel that hot coming out, hmmm.
