Water cooling :D I hope it is better now :)

I'm gonna get a watercooling set like you I think. But I see the CPU block, the radiator at the left next to the cpublock and pump at the bottom but where is the reservoir or am I missing something with my WC newbieface :D

Taken from my build log thread, now all i need is that cool dfi matx mobo and a gtx 260 and im good to go :):

Right, well, I thought I'd better post mine up for comments. Its nothing special whatsoever. Its just an old spec that can be found here (its slightly out of date as I have added 2 good and quiet fans as well as a passive heatsink on my GPU). No water cooling, not overclocked. Im also trying to make it as quiet as possible, hence the lack of fans. Over heating is not a problem (well, at least not for the CPU or motherboard anyway; two of the four hard drives is another matter though, and one that is easily fixed).
These were all taken after, for the first time I might add, I have ever attempted any form of cable management.

Here it is after I had to rebuild it because it wasn't working for some odd reason (I think it was because of a loose cable)

As you can see, its a fairly empty case. Which is nice.

Here it is after a few bits I got from here. The passive GPU cooler, the 92mm Typhoon and an 80mm quiet something or rather. All working really, really nicely and have halved the noise from the PC.

As you can see, I removed the CPU cooler as I have the air intake blowing cool air directly over the CPU. It never gets above 35oC.

Oh, and here is the coal fire my computer is next to ;)

I bought the respective sized dust guards from here too to stop the horrific amount of coal dust and cat hair (we have both a short haired and a long haired cat) that was being sucked into my PC. It seems to be working really well too!

Comments, questions, suggestions?

Would it not be a better idea to have the fan drawing air away from the CPU as you have intake fans on the front of your case(it looks like a chieftec which can, correct me if i'm wrong) This would then pull all the hot air out of the case and not bring the hot air from near the fire over your CPU

While I can see wher eyou are coming from, I think that blowng the air straight down onto the cooler is more efficient. The air goes straight in and then cools the lenght of the fins on the heatsink. If I were to blow air out (which TBH I hadnt thought of) then it would suck air in from around where the fan pipe ends, rather than from through the slats and up into the pipe. Does any of that make sence? Not sure how clearly I explained. Good idea about not drawing in the hotter air though :)

Also, the case is an and not a Chieftec one, but like suggested, I can install 2 fans to suck cool air in from the front, over the hard drives and out the back. I removed the hard drives fans however as they were really loud, and Im trying to get as queit a PC as possible.

Does anyone know how perspex responds to heat? Im tempted to cut a hole in the side for a window :D
