Lol...this thread is soooo depressing.

I just built my Sig spec Pc , my very first build, into a Coolermaster Elite 335, did what i thought was decent cable mangament, stood back and felt really proud.:D

Then i look at some of the builds in here and feel like the noobiest of noobs....:(

Still, my power button glows a really nice calming blue colour.....:p...might post a photo of it.

Thanks Sayso

Get 4.2 just by upping the multiplier and very stable. Have clocked 4.5 without trying too hard, but not that stable. Work to do...

I'm sure I could get a lot more, and will do, when I can find the time. Seem to have been building/rebuilding this system forever.

The best thing about this build is the 2 SSDs in RAID 0, they really fly.

i think SSDs would be overkill for me at the moment will wait until i can get a decent sized one for under £100 :)
nice to see you have 12G ram running with that O/C i suppose with the unlocked multiplier its easier to get it running at specified speed.

Yeah, I treated myself with the SSDs, they were and still aren't cheap. Prices will fall eventually.

The 12 gig of RAM does cause problems with OCing. Can only run at 1600 with all 12 gig, have to remove 6 gig to run at 1866. I got close to 1866 with 12 gig using 'memory up' in the BIOS but I didn't trust the voltages I saw. Bit wary, lots of voltage myths on the web about i7 and x58. Hopefully I can learn from other ppls mistakes. I'm in no rush.

Any/All i7 OCing tips would be welcome. 4.2 seems to be a wall at the moment. Over 4.2 requires removing some RAM and more indepth BIOS tweaking. Over 4 seems to be common for the 920. I was hoping (now praying) for a lot more than 4.2 to justify the price of the 965 EE.

Sayso, I see you're running a 920 @ 4.2. What are the NB temps like?

Here is a picture of my old case and new.

I know I need to change my CPU cooler round but just havent bothered yet. Getting good temps anyway but will once I have some for thermal compound.

Because the HAF932 has a fillport hole I was able to feed my case light switch to it and easily be able to turn them off in the day time. I would normally just leave this on all the time.

As you can see the case is much bigger and this made it very easy to work with and brillant for cable management (Although im not the best at it).

Nice case and feels good quality.
