Built it in December, and was the first time buying and building a computer for about 5 or 6 years so it was a large learning curve but definitely had loads of fun!

Looks nice and tidy but wouldn't airflow be better with the CPU cooler fan facing the front? Unless the front case fan is blowing hot air out of the case... :o

Very pleased with it so far, cable management is excellent, though the stupid position of the 24 pin socket on my Asus P5Q totally ruins it. :(

Might put a window in the side panel and try to squeeze in a watercooling loop in there when some money comes my way. :p

Thanks :) I'll be honest I did think about this.... AFTER I had fitted it :D

But I don't have any thermal paste to redo it. I have better cooling on this as it is than I did with the stock cooler so I think for now I am okay with it. I've been looking at getting the Corsair H50 after seeing all the stuff about it on here, so I may just wait it out and get that at some point.


Edit: @NvidiaDan. I really like that! Red looks so much better than the usual blue you see on computers! I guess that's my next aesthetic move!
 
Haha yeah, i have seen pics of peoples builds with it in all sorts of directions :p

Though im pretty sure there's something wrong ATM, CPU temps are in the 50's at idle :confused:

I've been thinking about getting this case for quite a while, I think it's absolutely gorgeous and I didn't realise that it included the red LEDs until seeing your post, looks amazing!

Any chance you could get a photo with the window on in the dark showing the side of the case? :D

Nice to see others showing off their Element G cases. I have one of those too I will post some pics later on in the week.

I purchased mine when the price was at 64.99 so was a real bargin for it.

I changed the red stripes on the side panels to black. (used black electrical tape, looks great and did not cost anything) I did not like them and I only use the red lights looks far better with the black interior.

I too am thinking of getting a side window put in the side panel. But I will want to keep the fan there so that it does not ruin the great airflow the case has.

Cable management is excellent too. It is a shame for yours though, silly Asus.

Got a new Antec 300 case yesterday and did this to it today :D

Its got blue aquarium backing stuck on the back of the motherboard try and lit with a blue cold cathode.
