driftingphil, that's rather uncalled for, calling someone a dumb ass like that.

You're probably right about the side panels only been off for the photos, infact I've little doubt that you are ...but that doesn't excuse blatantly insulting someone directly like that for no good reason, this is not a playground it's a discussion forum and community. It's not acceptable behaviour really and you will likely get slapped by a moderator for it.

I was merely asking a question.

I have seen many pictures on these forums of people having the side panels off their cases and not just for the purpose of taking pictures.

So that was the question i was asking.

I think the point is, you've seen pictures. People want to show of their hardware so they remove the side panels when taking the picture. During day to day general use it will be closed up.
 
I apologise, it was more of a funny kinda comment as it rather obvious in the thread why people would need to have there side panel off. Sorry wasn't thinking. please don't take offence.

That 650d is the nicest I've ever seen. Only problem with the 650d is the standard 200mm fan is difficult to replace with anything else, also I have seen a mod where a 120mm is mounted in the 3 lower 5.25 bays with a modified corsair grill so it looks oem. I can't see why corsair didn't do this as standard as it allows air to pass straight onto the CPU heat sink (who needs 5 anyway) .
 
Corsair cases by far make for the tidiest cases on the inside. Everyone who has one just seems to have impeccable cable management.
 
Just completed my new build, an NZXT Phantom kitted out with red LED fans. Pretty pleased with how it's turned out :D

I really don't like the look of that one hyburnate, there's something that I don't like about it, I'm not sure quite what though
