The New Cases Gallery

Was going to get a fan controller but wasn't sure if it would fit infront of the radiator so found this little beauty instead. Runs off an 8pin PCIe cable :)

What is this called, how does it work?

It's called a ModMyToys 8-Pin Distribution PCB - 8-Way and its pretty simple. Comes with velcro, stick it to the side of your case, plug in a PCIe connector (8 pin) and you have 8 fan connectors for whatever you want. I've got 4 fans, WC pump and LED light strip all plugged in :)

Saves loads of daisy chained 3 pin connectors, etc

Just need to change the odd fitting and i'm done.

Love what you've done here Khemist, looks epic!!

Wouldn't mind going from my H80 to a setup of this kind as I have the same case.

Wanted to ask you a a few questions, did you have to cut the case in order to fit your Rad, is the Rad a dual 180mm and do you run your fans on full 24/7?

Cheers

Decided to replace the Mesh Window on my 600T and put the Window insert back in place...too much dust was coming in through the 4x120mm fans on the side :p Still a bit dusty in there but will give a proper clear out later in the week.

Yes it's a dual 180mm and no i didn't cut the case.

What i did was removed the mounts on the bottom that hold the fan filters and you can see in the first pic i've mounted the filters underneath the case now with magnetic tape so the rad fits without cutting.

The rad isn't mounted to anything in the bottom but the fit is so tight it can't go anywhere.

The fans i have on a fan controller and on low almost all the time, maybe turn them up slightly when gaming but it's really not needed.

Perfect! Cheers for the info dude, absolutely love it!

Think I'm finally done with changing heatsinks for a while - in the last 3 months I've ditched my old H50, used H70 Core, Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro, gone back to H50, ditched it again, and now finally happy with a Noctua D14, as shown in the below pics.

Its keeping my new i7 970 hexacore CPU (second hand) very cool even at 4.2ghz.

So think I'm done with tinkering for a while...

Needed a complete re-wire to mount the ssd on the top. Luckily the front screw holes in the case line up perfect. Was a pain to get everything powered without adding any modular cables and working out how to install the drives onto sata 6gb controllers.
