The New Cases Gallery

Are you planning on putting the titan in that?!

I think its a joke...

I hope so else the guy is going to be seriously disappointed when it doesn't fit!

Really... :p

I wouldn't spend £900 on a Titan without making sure it fit properly, it fits fine and with no airflow restrictions at all.

Lovely small case.
Form Factor: Slim tower (15"(L) x 3.6"(W) x 14"(H))
Manufacturer: Digital Storm
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K
RAM: Corsair 16GB DDR3 1600MHz
HDD(s): Samsung 256GB Solid State (Model: 840 Pro Series) & 1TB Western Digital Caviar (7200 RPM)
GFX: EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN Superclocked Signature
Speed (if overclocked): 4.7Ghz

What made you order a system from America instead of buying one in the UK?, and how much tax did you get hit with?.

Because you cannot purchase a digital storm Bolt system in the UK, so i had to purchase it from America. It was a lot of hassle too, the shipping price digital storm were going to charge was scandalous but fortunately i had a friend in America. So he took it in and i arranged delivery via DHL. Tax was expensive but it still worked out a lot cheaper doing it my way then going with digital storm fedex option, which included sending it on a crate lol.

Reason i went to all that effort is because i loved the design of the case and its small, i wanted a tiny case but didn't lose out of the best hardware, this offered me both.

That's slightly obscene looking...

Love it!

Any plans on SLI :p

It will probably be ok, titan doesn't get that hot but for me i would have bought a case for 80 quid like the TJ08-E and it would probably have a lot better cooling but each to their own.

Is there not heating issues with such a tight case?
Nope the GPU is just drawing air from the outside of the case

I thought about it but i loved the look of this case but if it would have cost much more i'd have done as you said, fortunately it was within my price range.

****tt..... I was just assuming you could only get low profile cards ion there but that is well nice!
I see no reason why it wouldn't have cooling as good as any other case? It is drawing air straight from outside?

Yes exactly, the design is really efficient as you said its drawing air straight from the outside of the case.
They done something really clever to, to make the case be this skinny and small, they used a 1U PSU rather than an standard bulky ATX PSU. These allow a lot more room and the GPU sits next to the PSU with the GPU sucking in from the outside.

See this video, explains it better than me

Added another drive. Out of drive bays and SATA connections now.

C: Intel 520 - 240GB - can be seen top right under the Optical drive
D: Supertalent - 128GB - Under the Intel 520.
E: RAID0 Samsungs - 192GB - The 3 silver drives along the bottom of case.
F: OCZ IBIS RAID0 - 960GB - The four 3.5" drives in the bays on the right.

Case is a Lian-Li V750

That Bolt case is interesting, but as someone else suggested I'll be going with the TJ08-E when I change cases in the next few months...is about the smallest I can really go!
