The New Cases Gallery

@Sasso

Sorry this took so long, past few weeks have been a bit hectic but I finally got a chance to pull the 560Ti out my old system and check the fit. It felt like it was going to be a squeeze with the I/O cables along the edge of the motherboard but it did go in properly. I wouldn't like to run a non-blower card in the bottom slot though. The hardest part was trying to press the PCIE slot release catch to take the card out after, I used a blanking plate in the end :D.

Back into the Sugo SG-01 I go...

Intel Core i7 3770k
Gigabyte G1.Sniper M3
16GB DDR3
AMD HD7990
1x1TB HDD
2xSSD's (60GB and 120GB)
750w OCZ PSU (Needing modular to be honest)

thats a lot of power in such a small space!
Does it heat up much?

Not surprinsingly I was asked the question in the SFF section of the forum...so excuse the copy+paste reply :p

You'd be very surprised then

There was a bit of space left over from the HD7990...I was surprised myself.

I've built down from an PS-07 and the temps have droped a bit.

HD7990
Idle: 38C
Load: 80C

i7 3770k
Idle: 38C
Load: 64C

CPU temps are up a bit maybe 3-4C from the PS-07 but the 7990 has come down about 10C on load simply down to the fact the card exhausts heat out it's side and not the rear so the 2x80mm exhaust fans above the card helping get rid of the heat.

Just finished my upgrade :).

Basically upgraded everything, with the exception of the 2TB HDD, PSU and 7970 Ghz which i already had.

  • Intel Core i7-4770K
  • Asus Z87-PRO Z87
  • Corsair 16GB Vengeance Pro Blue DDR3
  • Corsair Hydro Series H80
  • AMD 7970 3GB Ghz
  • 240GB Sandisk Extreme SSD
  • 2TB Western Digital Black HDD
  • Silverstone FT02 (USB 3.0 + Slot loading DVDRW)
  • OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w

Managed to the i7 4770k to 4.9Ghz stable with comfortable temps, didn't get a bad firestrike score either ;).

Is there any way to avoid that among so much dust in the tower? I put a side fan to enter more air to my HD 7950, it goes a lot dust ...
