After years of ITX builds, finally back to ATX case, and 5000D is a big boy.

Oof that is big. That set up is a looker too!

I've hopped on the ITX train recently just finished a Velka 5 (1.1) build with a 3080 pics below:

Well it started with a 3060ti FE & a 9400f.
You can see the flowthrough has some visibility there:

It escalated from there... 9900k on the way and a 3080 waiting for it:

Finished build yet to materialise.

I still have one SFF build, primarily Hackintosh, packed in budget Raijintek Metis Plus case. I ordered today NR200 for additional airflow.
Here are my previous H200i case and all components transferred to Metis (9900K, Z390 Phantom, 2x8GB Trident Z 4000 B-Die, 500GB 970 Evo, and RX580 8GB Pulse - natively supported for macOS).

Those are some nice builds. Testing the limits of SFF myself right now. I can feel myself being pulled towards a T1 for the cpu aio cooling solution I know I won't be getting the full potential of a 9900k in my case but the trade off in size is almost double!

T1 FormD is my favorite case but also impossible to get one...

That's the reason why I quit itx and sff formats, high-end components have too high TDP for small sff cases.
My 9900K is rock stable at 5Ghz 1.30v with D15 cooler in H200i. Probably have some degrees more in the Metis. We will see the situation in NR200.

The 3060ti went in a nr200 build I did for my brother. Has 5 x Noctua a12x25s in it.

Just waiting on a Fuma 2 to finish it.

It was a fantastic case to build in. Would highly recommend.

Yeah, seems like an easy case to build. I also have a plan to buy 4 12x25 fans tomorrow, for the top and the bottom, next to two a12x25 on U12A cooler.

Some updated pics of my P500A. Been a bumpy ride but she's finished. After receiving my Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OCV back in February had a series of POST issues. After RMA'ing the card (and nothing wrong with it...), replacing my Motherboard/CPU/RAM (Z170X / I7 6700K/ 16GB RAM to X570 / 5800X / 32GB RAM - shock horror still issues!) and finally RMA-ing the culprit my Corsair AX1200i which was an RMA replacement for a noisy AX1200! Corsair issued my the choice of replacement PSU and I settled for an RM850X and below is le results.

Definitely the cleanest build I've ever done and aside from some RGB annoyances I'm happy with the finished product.

A lot depends on the material used for the sleeving. Some of them are quite stiff, which makes them more difficult to route, but results in a better looking end result.

The cheap extensions on Amazon are pretty good in that regard. Better than alternatives from more well-known brands (which tend to use flexible sleeving).

Yeah maybe cheaper ones would be better - the ones I'm using are really thick and almost like coiled springs in places. Pic below (and it's a new re-build so is on topic )

Back on air cooling and no RGB, will be replacing the ram with Klev bolt X tomorrow, will get a better pic when done with the case in better lighting, Jonsplus i100 pro.

How are you finding the case? Was thinking if it’s worth moving from the nr200
